Accountability - Friday

How is your week going ladies? I won't say its good and I won't say its bad for me... just kinda a neutral week. Keeping up with what I've done previously but haven't really taken any steps to move forward, need to get that in gear!

Weekend plans? Any new workouts? New weightloss to report?

  • I didn't work out this week between being sick and getting over being sick.  I have been walking the dogs on a daily basis.  

    This weekend I'm planning on getting back on track with my eating (including little to no gluten)  and exercising!
  • I went to Zumba for an hour last night, the instructor had a special class so I managed to make it happen b/c I have to skip Saturday's class for a meeting with the priest.
    I did weigh myself this morning (I'm not supposed to do that until Sunday- but my Dr's scale yesterday morning got me a little upset) and I lost 1.5 lbs according to my scale!
  • I have spin class at lunch today and I'm hoping to get outdoors this weekend - it's supposed to be UBER nice. If I can, I'd like to attempt my first run of the season. If not, I do still have yoga and JM on the agenda for this weekend ;)
    (Might do some mall marathons too for some spring wardrobe :P)

  • Someone at worked said to me earlier "Are you losing weight? You look like you've lost a few pounds" and I think it was the boost I needed! 

    I went for a 1.5 mile walk with a friend and vacuumed for 30 minutes last night... I LOVE to vacuum, and am super glad it counts as exercise =]

  • You can do the vaccuuming at my house if you'd like! With 4 pets and carpet its never ending! Haha
  • Vaccumming counts as exercise?? That is great! Then I have burned so many more calories than I thought lol
  • According to Loseit.com vacuuming is exercise!

    I am working at loosing weight too. I have starting taking my daily walk at lunch. We walk about 3 kilometers. Now that the snow is away we can do it in 30 mins instead of the 45 min. So we are looking to extent our walks longer.
  • Today is my first day of doing a fifth day of boot camp. I don't really get much of a work out on the weekends, unless I'm dancing. But usually when I'm dancing I drink ;) I'm sure the drinking isn't helping me lose weight though... So, I figured I'd tack on another day of working out to make my total 5 days a week and then hopefully I can do something extra on Saturday or Sunday. 

    I don't know why but for some reason I am incredibly nervous to go today. As though it's going to be different today than any other day I go...I think in my mind I'm telling myself that all the really good people go on Fridays and I'll feel super dumb. I'm so tempted to skip it because of my fear!
  • I just went through my closet and tried on all of my "too small" pants and skirts. They fit briefly 2 years ago but other than that they haven't fit in about 4 years.

    While a few pairs are slightly tight still they all definitely fit! I gained at least 2 skirts and 3 pairs of pants! This might just make up for the pants that are too big now. 

    I'm super excited about this. I can't wait for these pants to be too big too.

  • Happy Friday everyone!!  
    Well I plan on going to the gym tomorrow, the other day when the temp had got into the 70 FI & I went to the park to play football and softball!  We are going to the driving range Sunday also.  
    Tomorrow I am going with some people to go into the cities to keep searching for FG dresses, my shoes and any other accessories I could pick up.
