I guess I don't understand why the NAACP feels the need to get involved.  I think the PSPCA's 2nd chance campaign is a great idea.  It ties in very nicely.

I really like that they are encouraging adoption of rescued pit bulls. At least some good is coming from all of this.

I'm not racist in the least bit, but the NAACP irritates the hell out of me. Agreed. They have to stick their nose in everything. I am pretty sick of this story as it is, but I am also glad that good is coming from this horrible crime.

Yeah, I don't understand why these groups feel the need to march in support- what exactly are they supporting?  He already got his chance to play again.  What's their goal?I hope this raises even more awareness about the plight of fighting dogs and the many, many pit bulls up for adoption in shelters nationwide.

At least you guys don't have to live in Philly!!!  It is disturbing to see little kids already wearing Vick Eagle's jerseys.  I hate the fact that I'm going to have to see his face every week when we watch football.  I am sooooo disappointed in the Eagles doing this.  Again, Thank God I'm a Steeler's fan.And, I agree with Angela and Kim about the NAACP.
