Dresses for shower, RD, batch parties????

Any ladies started thinking about dresses for your shower, RD, or batch parties??? (If applicable). I ask because I was at express today and I got the *perfect* dress for my upcoming shower! Purple is one of my wedding colors too! I originally wanted to wear white/ivory, but all the sundresses that I tried on were really see through. I think I can still find a white one for my RD because the fancy/dressy ones tend to be a little more substantial with thicker fabric. NO idea what to wear to my batch party.

This is the shower dress! It looks kinda short here but I'm only 5'2 so it's way longer on me lol.

My mom and I went on a massive dress hunt a few weeks ago. We have so many weddings and showers and all sorts of other things that we bought a number of dresses. I bought 2 at JCPennys that I will be able to wear to my cousins wedding, FSIL's shower and wedding, my showers, etc. I'm wearing jeans and a button down for my bach party, because that's all they are getting outta me!

I have been searching for a dress for my shower and RD for months now bc I didn't want to be scrambling last minute and I haven't found anything I like.

I did buy this dress from the Limited but I ordered it online and it's a satin so I feel like it's too fancy for the shower...maybe for the RD?  I'm debating if I should return it but I got it on a crazy sale so I may just keep it.

Here is my Bridal Shower Dress. I'm adding a purple ribbon in with the white ribbon to tie in my purple shoes and my wedding color. I got the dress on clearance a while back from the Limited. With shipping it was $30.

I am loving all these dresses!! I picked out my RD dress *maybe*. I told myself it would be the only dress I buy from Anthropologie, because well I have always dreamed of buying one thing from there lol!




The best part of Anthro is their return policy.. my receipt is already in their system, so if I decide I want another dress when it gets closer (which I might- The more I think about it the more it screams spring to me), just return it no questions asked!
