Recieved a wedding gift yesterday, it came in a macys box. FI wasnt sure if it was something I ordered for the wedding so he opened it lol . We got a set of sheets and some other bedding items. I was so excited...FI not so much lol. Its a little early I thought but I guess not, let the games begin I guess. Hope we didnt conjur up and bad luck....I really dont believe in bad luck lol

I've been getting gifts for the past 3 weeks lol FI doesn't get too excited about the new dishes or sheets either haha

Fi's cousin sent a gift on 6/22 (had to check my spreadsheet, knew it was early!)!! She's an overachiever tho. We've gotten several items in the last few weeks...it's nice, gives me a chance to write thank you notes at a more leisurely pace & stay caught up!

FI loves getting gifts lol. We had a joint wedding shower this weekend with his co-workers and if it was stuff that I thought he would like (in a bag where i could see) I would give it to him. The closer we get the more excited he gets about everything. The second he walks in the door after work he asks if we got any RSVP cards lol.

We got one back in June when my friend came in town for my b-party and shower since she knew she'd be out of the country come the wedding.  We got another a few weeks later (towels which didn't get FI too excited).  FI's sister also gave us one early because she was giving us cash to help us buy our house!  I don't mean this in a greedy way but in a logistics way but I hope we get more soon because 1. I can stay on top of thank you notes and 2.  that means less risk that people will bring actual gifts to the wedding.  Cards are okay but we live 4 states away and my parents are stuck driving all of our wedding stuff home so gifts would make for a very packed car.
