Have you seen your dress on SYTTD?

I'll be completely up front and honest right off the bat:  I LOVE Say Yes to the Dress.  It's my version of wedding porn.  I can look all kinds of dresses and not feel like I'm cheating on my own because mine is never on there.  Until a couple weeks ago...
  I was watching reruns last month and there was a bride on there who tried on a dress JUST like mine.  Mine happens to be made by the shop that sold it to me, but I'm sure they bought the pattern from somebody.  I never knew where to look online for pictures of it because again, I had no designer to go by.  At first I thought I was imagining it, but no, this is almost identical to my dress.  I even called my mom and had her watch the episode just to make sure.  The girl on the show ended up picking my dress, so I felt validated lol.  I guess I should also confess that my dress was never my first choice.  I got it because my mom, maid of honor and the sales lady all instantly started crying when I put it on and I felt like I had to get it because of the reaction it evoked.  I liked a lot of dresses enough to wear them (I'm easy to please as long as it was white and had lace), so this was probably in the top 3 but definitely not my number 1.

Anyway...bottom line...has anybody else seen their dress featured on the show?  How did that make you feel?  Seeing that girl in my dress made me feel oddly confident that I made the right choice.  Also cool to know that my dress is cool enough to be carried at Kleinfeld's I guess.  I just need to have it altered to I can really see what it will look like because right now it's too big and I don't feel as pretty as the girl on tv was.

I think that would be so cool and I would likely feel the same way, that sense of 'well hey, my dress is nice enough they would pick it on there, OBVIOUSLY its a nice dress' lol
I won't see mine though, its custom... lol

First, I LOVE Say Yes to the Dress, Four Weddings, all that kind of stuff and I will freely admit it.  I watched it long before I was engaged, haha.

I've never seen my dress on Say Yes because Kleinfeld's does not cary Paloma Blanca gowns, I'm not quite sure why they don't to be honest.  However, I have seen my #2 choice twice on two different brides on Say Yes: Atlanta.  Neither bride picked it, although one girl came close.  I kinda liked that it was on TV.  It made me feel like I had it narrowed down to two great options (the Say Yes dress and my dress).

My second choice dress is featured in this wedding.  I don't know the designer/style number, if I did I would just post that link

oh gosh I love SYTTD!! I don't watch TV generally, but I soooo look forward to a night when I can watch even 1/2 hr of SYTTD!

My dress is from a Canadian designer, and I don't think I've ever seen Canadian designers on that show, so I doubt it would be there. It would be pretty neat tho!

I have seen my dress on both syttd and four weddings. I must say it did feel good. It def made me realize my dress is amazing! I can't wait to wear mine.

I too love SYTTD and Four Weddings. I HATE David Tutera though. His show is obnoxious and I hate 99% of the brides on there. Anyway, I'll never see my dress on SYTTD since it's from DB.

I don't think they carry my designer, but another September bride chose my dress also (ramora) and that was oddly validating.

My dress is pretty popular it seems, so I've seen it on SYTTD a few times. Fiance has even seen it on the show, not knowing it was mine :P He said he liked it.. but I know he will love it on me

I haven't seen my dress on say yes to the dress but I have seen my dress on other brides through my officiant who takes pictures of her weddings, and my flower lady who takes pictures of her flowers.  I am more flattered more than anything, I am glad someone else has the same taste as me

Thank you for posting this! I have felt buyers remorse since I've seen my dress on other brides, it's very popular. Even someone on this board has posted how she is "so over" the dress. Before I went dress shopping I didn't know it was popular but i had those crazy feelings about it, i absolutely loved it. Reading your posts have made me feel better how every feels flattered. I never thought of it that way and I'm glad I read this. Thank you

I am also completely addicted to Say Yes and Four Weddings...I just cannot get enough!  I have seen my dres on Say Yes and I got sooo excited.  The bride didn't pick it but they all described it the same way my sisters did when I tried it on which made me happy and anxious to see it again!

i love say yes to the dress, i was watching it this weekend! we don't have cable at home, so i was loving it in the hotel room! i used to watch it back when i lived with my parents, but it's been 6 months without cable for me.

i haven't seen my dress on SYTTD, but i know that they carry jenny lee at kleinfelds, so it's possible it has been on an episode or could be on a future one. i almost signed up to go on the show, but around the time i was looking to sign up, the next available slots were in february, which i thought was too late to get my dress. plus the whole cost of flying to NY thing.

I admire your will power to now have cable for that long.  I think if we didn't have cable FI and I might kill eachother.

I've never seen my dress on SYTTD but I have to say that I will watch the same episodes over and over again because I love it that much.  FI hates it with a passion but he's starting to give in and let me watch a couple episodes on Friday nights since I watched football with him for 17 weeks.
