Bachelorette question- WWYD?

Hey ladies, So, I am going to a bachelorette party on Saturday.. Originally I planned on staying at the hotel they booked, but am sick and I dont really want to now. I told the girl that planned it, and now I get an email asking if I could still pay my share ($15) because the hotel won't let them change to a different suite and to keep the cost down for the girls staying. I am not the only girl who cannot stay there now. Also, this bach party is for my FSIL. What would you do? Thanks ladies!!

I would pay my share -- and hopefully the others who cancelled will too!

If I was cancelling with short notice for something I would still pay my share.

yeah its only $15, i think its pretty smart of you to just pay it and not have them yell at you for bumping up the price of the other girls room

yeah, since it's only $15 and such short notice, I would pay it. If anything, just to keep the peace.

if it was reversed and someone had to cancel for me last minute, I would be a little bit annoyed if I had to pay more because of their last minute cancellation.

I would pay my share.  If you agreed to it in the first place, planned on going and other girls did as well, the others shouldn't have to pay your way, just because you cant go.

I don't mean that to sound b*tchy, but this happened in one of the weddings I was in and what was supposed to be $50 for the suite each turned into over $100 because the other girls refused to hold up their agreed to price.

This also happened with the party bus (same wedding).  $100 pp became $175.  Its unfair to put that burden on others who may not have enough.  I know if's $15, but if that money comes out of what they have to spend on dinner and what not, that puts them in a tight spot.

Paying $275 was more than what we had saved for since it was only supposed to be $150. I had to put it all on my credit card and wait for everyone to pay me back.
