Ok let me start by saying invitations have been my one huge PITA so far with wedding planning. I have not been able to find any decently priced invitations that I like and the ones I do like are no where near my budget so I reluctantly agreed to let my FI and brothers gf create the design and as my brothers gf is a photographer she already works with a great print shop that can get us decent prices.
A little history here....FI is an architect and works with graphics and designs everyday and ever since we got engaged he has wanted to create all of our paper products for the wedding. I have been reluctant because I know I am picky and I was afraid that him creating our paper products might cause a little unnecessary tension between us due to the fact that I may not like the designs and he may get frustrated with me. So for a long time I was against the idea. As he kept bringing it up I started to realize how important this was to him. So last weekend I agreed to let them DIY all paper products for the wedding and after a couple hours working together they came up with this!
I absolutely LOVE it. What do you guys think?? My mom mentioned that it was fancy but I dont think it is too fancy for our reception venue. I would use a clicky but for some reason that option is greyed out as I post this so here is the web address for our reception venue.
