Tasty Tuesday!!

What is your favorite healthy meal?? I LOVE a good salad! But my favorite healthy meal is Salmon and green beans! The way my FI makes green beans though makes them so super yummy! So share a recipe of one of your favorite healthy meals. 

Healthy, Yummy, Simple Green Beans Smile

- Sautee' a teaspoon of minced garlic in a pan. 
- Add as many green beans as you like. Usually we use about a lb. 
- Add a pinch of salt
- Now this is key to the flavor: when the green beans are almost done, drizzle some lime flavored olive oil over the green beans and sautee' until cooked. 
- Before serving, put shredded parmesan sparsely over the green beans.

  • That sounds delish!  FI hates seafood so I never get to eat any :(

    A healthier pizza I like:

    - Chop up a variety of vegatbles/squash:
       We usually do: peppers (green and red/yellow), onions, zuchinni squash, summer    squash.

    - Prepare Pizza dough (I use Bob's Red Mill GF dough)

    - Add some feta cheese as the first layer (a smallish container usually does the trick for us)

    - Put chopped veggies, etc. on top

    - Add any leftover feta to the top of the veggies.

    - Bake as usual

    - Top with baby spinach leaves and a bit of balsamic vinegarette and enjoy!!

  • I have been obsessed with skinnytaste.com lately.  Literally, I've made her recipes for at least the last 2 weeks for dinner.  They're easy to make and she lists the nutritional info right on them which is really helpful!  I made the Turkey Italian Crock Pot Meatballs on Saturday and the Sicilian rice ball casserole is delicious...oh and the edamame fried rice...ridiculously good!
