For floor work, I like the bicycle crunch.  I couldn't find a picture that accurately describes it, but this girl on YouTube has them mastered.  Clicky.

She starts them at 9:45ish :)  They are harder than she makes them look!

That video is actually a really great workout that I do regularly to supplement my other ab work.  Definitely check out her other videos.
  • Awesome, I'll definitely check out her videos! I find my ab days are getting too 'routine' so hoping getting input from all you girls I can change it up a bit
  • This because I'm lazy.

Also, Chalean Extreme, has the best 10 min ab workout ever.  Goes by so fast and you feel it quickly.

I agree. I love Chalean Extreme and her ab workout. I'm so sore after but it's worth it.
  • I just started doing Ab Ripper X. I don't really have a favorite from it, but so far I'm really liking it.

  • Planks and side planks and plank rows and more planks lol

  • I don't "like" them but planks in any variety, side planks kill me and I more often than not have to drop a knee. I also like sit ups with a partner when you throw the medicine ball as you crunch up and the throw it at you as you're rolling back down to the count of 3.

Another is in crunch pose about 45 degree with your heels off the ground and twist your upper body left to right with a medicine ball for 30 sec

  • Up and down planks are great too; they also work your arms and back like pushups along with good focus on your obliques.

Here's a little video - super easy to do at home:

  • I like planks as well even though they are a b*tch sometimes.  I also like doing abs on workout balls so I can extend back past 180 degrees.  Also, don't forget to work your back!!!!  The ratio should be 4:1 for abs to back exercises to prevent you from having poor posture and back pain.  That ratio came from a certified strength and conditioning coach, I didn't make it up haha.  Think about it....your waist is the circumfrence of your body not just the front!  Easiest back exercise to incorporate (IMHO) are "supermans"  where you lay on your stomach and lift your legs and arms...just be sure before you lift to squeeze your butt for proper form.
