Weight of invitation?

Do any of you know what your full invitation package weighs? What is included in that weight? Are you requiring additional postage?
TIA!

I think ours weighs 1.6 ounces so we'll have to get the 65 cent postage (US, international will be more) I believe.

ETA: This includes pocketfold, invite and 3 inserts.
  • I purposely kep out any ribbons etc that would make the package bulky or heavy.  Mine will only take one stamp each.  I suggest going to your post office and having them weighed
  • I would def go in to have it weighed, I was just curious to know what was "average".
I wanted to do customized mailing stamps but I don't want to spend a fortune; I'm really hoping it come in under 31grams :P

Thanks for posting.  That's similar to mine, so I'll have an idea of what it costs now!

  • abcollins - I think under one ounce is 45 cents, 1-2 ounces is 65 cents and over that is 85 cents. Unless it gets big/heavy enough to be considered a large envelope instead of first-class mail.
  • Ours weigh 1.7 and postage was 65 cents. They also are a pocketfold tith 3 inserts and a business size card for the wedding website info. The postage for our overseas ones is higher, they will be 98 cents. HTH
  • Mine are 65 cents as well, but I already bought forever stamps... so I'm using two of those. The ribbon did me in.
  • Mine are $0.65 for the invite with ribbon, reception and RSVP cards, RSVP envelope and lined inner envelope. 1.3 ounces, just missed out. Luckily I got it weighed before I bought too many forever stamps.... And they make $0.65 with wedding cakes on them to go with the wedding rose forevers on the RSVP!
