Accountability - Monday

Hey girls, start of a new week! I figure we'll start Mondays off with a chance for you to list any goals for the week, and then come the end of the week we can reflect on whether people reached them...

My goals this week: 3 days of cardio, 2 days of strength, 2 days off (one of those will be Tues likely because we're going to be busy with visiting our friends and their new baby, and then heading to a business meeting). I am heading to my Mom's up north on Fri night, so this will be a good chance for us to try to keep on schedule up there too.... even if its just going for a run, they are extremely middle of nowhere so a run down the street would be nice and peaceful :)

    the goals idea is great!

    my goals this week are to go to the gym atleast 5 times (6 would be great). 4 of those times i will do atleast 35 minutes of cardio. i will do atleast 15 minutes of abs each time. i will stretch 3x this week. I will do my shoulder/back exercises atleast 2 times each.

    i never really make goals for myself, i just do what i feel like. these goals are pretty on par with what i do now, with maybe a little bit of a stretch. i need help when it comes to making goals. any suggestions?

    eating goal: i will bring my lunch 4 days this week. (fridays i go out to lunch with my dad, but to jason's deli and i have the salad bar so it's not terrible). if i snack at night, i will have fruit.

  • Exercise Goals:  1-2 days of strength training and at least 3 weekdays of cardio.

    Food Goals:  Try and snack better.

    I'm heading to my mom's one of the weekend days and I might try and get a semi-long run in there.  
  • I have three classes scheduled this week....an abs class, ballet barre, and kickboxing (Mon, Tues, Sat).  I hope to get an early morning run in at least 2 of the days bw Wed, Thurs, Fri.  Haven't done this in years since FI would complain if I get out of bed early, but since he moved yesterday I have no excuse.  It's going to be a struggle though but I really want to push for it!  Also, since he is gone and don't have any set plans with my girls, my goal is to only eat out one or two meals this whole week.
  • My goal is to cut back on coffee. I've really started drinking way more than I should and it's effecting my hydration hence my workouts. And the extra sugar in my diet is not good. Ideally, I'd like to cut back on my "sweets" too, but really, I don't feel the need to lose any weight and why deprive myself if I don't need to lol

    I had a wicked spin class at lunch today!! Great way to start the week!

    And a cool thing - the instructor offered to do a special group spin class for my office so we've picked a date/time and so far I have about 20 coworkers signed up!!! It's gonna be fun and a great activity to do as a group :)

  • My goal for this week is 3-4 days of strength training and 1 of cardio. I hate cardio so even one is a stretch for me Frown.   This is going to be hard because I don't have a day off until next Thursday and I am tutoring  a few days this week after work, but if I have to work out at 9pm I will.
