Accountability - Weekend

Alright ladies, so I seem to have hit a bit of a rut and need to get my butt in gear. Realized that at my dress fitting although I have slimmed down a bit, its not as much as I wanted and my workouts are plateauing right now... Time to get my butt in gear!

  • I've had a great week in terms of exercise! Ran a total of 7 miles this week, in addition to an hour of zumba and a weight lifting session on Monday.

    In terms of diet, I'm doing just OK, but really failing in the area of alcohol. I chalk it up to stress at work, beautiful weather for patio drinking, and the holiday...but I need to do better.
  • I worked out last night for only the second time this week.  I sepnt the past two weeks sick, so I've barely worked out.  Ironically, I've lost a couple pounds, but I can feel that I haven't been working out.  Now that I'm doing better, hopefully I'll get at least 5 workouts in this week.  It's gorgeous here (78 degrees in MN in March!), so FI and I might go for a long bike ride today.

  • I did my workout for yesterday. I have been good and I am still losing which is great. I want to incorpate more fruits and veggies that I like. I feel like I might lose all the weight I want to if I out more effort into it but I am happy with the results. I will be happy if I lose 20 more lbs.

  • I ran yesterday at the gym and did weights and a killer ab workout I found on Pinterest.  Today I ran outside while FI biked.  It was great because I really pushed myself to keep up with him.  My foot is still bothering me, the pain goes away when I run thankfully but then creeps back up afterwards.  I hope it goes away soon!
  • FI and I did a 3 mile walk yesterday and 5 miles today to enjoy the beautiful weather.  We had my family's "Christmas party" yesterday as we weren't able to get together over the holidays and plenty of horrible eating/drinking decisions were made.  

    So today we spent some time trying to plan out some healthy meals I can make this week, as I had wrist surgery at the beginning of the month and we've been eating takeout and other crap.  And then we topped it off with last nights' shitshow. 

    I am still out of work for another 2 weeks so I'm hoping to spend that time getting my eating and exercise back on track.
