Weekly Checks!

Another week passed, not too many more to go! I'm under a hundred days now. I'm kind of in this weird lull right now where I don't have too, too much to do until I meet with my vendors in August.

THIS PAST WEEK

-Talked with FMIL about the rehersal. She's taking care of it, so I don't need to think about this anymore. Whew. 

-My mom said she'd call around limo places on Tuesday. I'll keep up on her lol.

-My FSIL and bridesmaid offered to address my invites! Woot! That should get done the last week of June (when we vacation together) and I'll be able to mail them out the first week of July.

THIS UPCOMING WEEK

??? I seriously have no clue. Ummmmmmmm.

this past week:
-ordered a garter (not having a toss but FI still wants me to have one)
-ordered bird cages to round out my collection for the centerpieces
-made another hair/makeup appointment
-talked to the wedding coordinator at our reception hall about audiovisual equipment, and heard that they found table runners to match my BM dresses (she's been looking for 3 months).

this coming week:
-stamp/address invites & get ready to send
-have 2 hair trials
-meet with ceremony musician to pick out ceremony music
-book videographer

This week
-Invitations are DONE, woohoo. Only need to seal and stamp. I am so happy that they are done, they are completely hand made. So happy to have this check done, what a relieve
-set appointment to meet with DJ
-had FIs ring engraved with 1-2-3 (we always squeeze each others hands 3 times which means i love you)

This week
-have no idea, but I'm sure there is something to do

-Bought manzanita branches/ did a mock up


-bought the votives for above
-bought invitation cards (using michaels coupons)
-bought a new printer so we can print invitations
-attached all the invitation enveloples liners to the enevelopes
-printed one invitation mock up


NEXT WEEK
-Finish the invitations!

Last Week:

Booked my hair trial appointment

Paid off my dress and brought it home!

Bought a necklace (I decided I wanted something dainty around my neck)

Finished the thank you cards for the shower gifts

Designed 4 versions of the menu cootie catcher and printed about 50% of them

Prep for second round of invites (reception only)

Booked my fitting appointment (dress, bolero, cage veil)

Not too shabby considering we have so much else going on with the house.

I also worked on my son's birthday invitations. Gotta get those out soon!

This Week:

Work on the second round of invites (prepare the pockets)

Start my teeth whitening process

Plan menu for rehearsal dinner

Prepare a folder of pictures for the slideshow/picture tree

NWR: finish my son's party invites and get his teacher's gifts made/ready

(and sell the house!!)

LAST WEEK

Asked FI's cousin to do my hair and hair for bridal party (had been waiting to see her in person at a family function).  She offered previously, but I didn't want to put her to work.  Then I had a horrible trial with the place I was planning to use, and reconsidered.

Made another BM bouquet

Picked up some more flowers for my bouquet

Found an awesome flower to replace the lame fabric flowers on my dress. Awesome > Lame.

THIS WEEK

No expectations this week.  It's the week before parties start at the house for FI's brother's wedding.  I'll be doing a ton of cleaning, and practicing talking in soothing tones so I can talk FMIL down when she works herself up into a tizzy.
