Am I missing something?

So I know I brought up room blocks a few days ago. I decided that I'm going to go with the Holiday Inn Express because it's closest to our venue with a clear cut path to it and has the best price. Really, if I went lower, they'd be in the sticks and in a dump. =P

Sooo... he said no deposit to book or guantee to establish room blocks. The cut off time is two weeks before....

I feel like this is too easy. lol! Am I missing something? Maybe I'm just too used to issues coming up. hahaha!

Haha, yup that should be it! You shouldn't have to put anything down or be on the hook for any money or anything.  I did my hotel block a few weeks ago.

Yes, I am SO USED TO PROBLEMS lol. I know exactly what you mean. This week I'm dealing with a travel agent and bakery who are both impossible to get ahold of.

Have they drawn you up a contract? Mine was pretty simple, it just stated the block dates, # and type of rooms, the rate, and the cutoff date to book.

As PPs said, that's it. If you have a contract stating the details then you're golden : if not, I'd get one!

Yes, he sent me a proposal (nothing has been set in stone yet) but... yeah. I just thought there was a lot more to it. =P

It was prob the easiest thing to do! It took a couple emails back and forth with details and then a contract was drawn. TA-DA! lol
