Honeymoon to Riviera Maya

Have been looking into planning our honeymoon in the Riviera Maya and was wondering if anyone has been there or are planning to go for there honeymoon. Any advice on to what resort to stay at. We want an all inclusive.

We are staying Secrets Maroma Beach. We leave the Wednesday after the wedding which is 9-12 and are staying 7 days. I have never been there before but I have wonderful things about the beaches and the Secret Resorts,

We went to Riviera Maya 3 or 4 years ago with our families. It was AMAZING! You'll love it! We stayed at Barcelo. It's like 4 resorts side by side and you can eat/drink at all of them anytime you want! You have free range over all four of them! Which was really nice! The beach was huge and you could spread yourselves out as much as you wanted! You could seclude yourself or be part of all the action!

I'd definitely recommend it! Budget friendly and just wonderful!

Butttt... I am currently obsessed with Zoetry hotels! Haven't been to one... but they look beautiful! and there is a Zoetry in Riviera Maya! So you might want to check that out as well!

We are also going to Secrets Maroma Beach, but we're going the first week of October. I know they highly recommend it over on the HM board, which played a big factor in us choosing it.

We're staying at the Excellence Playa Mujeres 2-story suite w/ private pool on the rooftop.  It is all inclusive.

We went on vacay there and stayed at Catalonia. It wasn't the nicest (for a HM, fine for our first vacay together) so we are looking for an upgrade. We are pretty set on going to Secrets Tulum in Riviera Maya.

Thank You, I am going to look into all of them. I have heard of the Excellence and I have looked at the El Dorado Royale. But I like to research a few before we choose the one to book.

We haven't been but friends and family have recently stayed at secrets silversands and also the Valentin. I think silversands is a little less expensive than maroma beach, we might be going there

I just booked my Riviera Maya honeymoon this weekend!!!

We're staying at the RIU Palace. We've stayed at a RIU before and they're great and priced very well!

We are going in September to the Excellence in Riveria Maya...A bunch of our friends have been there and all come back raving about how awesome it has been!
