Friday FML

I have an 8-10 page nursing paper due before midnight tonight. It's worth 45% of my grade and as of right now, I only have about 1/2 of the research done.

Share your FML and help make me feel not so stupid for being a procrastinator.

That sucks! I'm a procrastinator too. Actually, I have to leave for owkr in 10 minutes and still have to get dressed, finish half of my makeup and doing something with the mop that is my hair... *sigh*

I have to work from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. tomorrow, and today is my only day off this week...NOT looking forward to that!

Friday FML- I've become the collections biatch at work.  I'm dealing with unpaid invoices from August.  I just spent the last 4 hours standing over the copier scanning several hundred tickets which I now get to send off to people and threaten then with a lien.

The building I work in is full of different rooms for offices and such.  Right now it's just us and a lawyer's office.  There has been a maintenance guy here all week working on things in the basement.  Sometimes he is REALLY loud and then there is no noise.  We've been wondering if we should occasionally check on him after those thumps!

I am stuck inside with a snow storm going on. I have tons of stuff to do because it is my last free day before school starts. Even when the snow lets up the roads will suck so I am home all night:-(

Bridezilla...I feel your pain.  I think nursing school is designed to torture you and make sure you can hack it in the real world.  

Aaaand Friday FML-  I replied to my caterer about our tasting by copy/pasting an old email exchange we had.  After sending it I noticed there were like 20 old messages in the exchange including one where I fwd'd to my dad and we bashed the chef's grammar in a previous email.  (Seriously though, he wrote "it was so nice to meat you.")  I hope he didn't read through everything!

My FML is that I had to clean the entire school by myself today   Friday & Monday the staff cleans to save money on janitor service (and put it towards things we need for the classrooms).  The school only has 7 classrooms but it took me 3 hours to clean the place because I had to do it by myself.  On top of that, I have a sinus infection, so the physical labor was no fun

So glad it's the weekend, but not excited for the snow/wintery mix expected tonight and tomorrow.  I might have a FML Saturday if I can't run tomorrow haha.

Oh I def got a FML for today. My cars heating system blew and its going to cost $700 to fix it. I plan on buying a new car after the wedding is paid off and I get a new job (I graduate in May). My car is just a crap shoot at this point and I wouldnt get any of the money back if I put it in. Its not even that old nor does it have absurd amount of miles on it but its literally been one thing after another with it. Honestly, Im contemplating not fixing the heat and trying to deal with it because come spring the heat wont be an issue and then I will be donating it before the next winter. Ugh!

Okay my FML today is pretty funny. So today is my birthday, and I got a text from a number I thought was familiar but couldnt figure out who it was wishing me a happy birthday. After like 15 minutes of trying to figure it out, my FI said, "its not your brother is it? He would be in your phone already." So I searched my phone, and he was right. It was my freaking brother!!! I never entered my brothers phone number into my contacts, lol! It was a total face palm/FML moment.

After spending and hour and a half commuting home from work in a snow storm, I stopped to pick us up some yummy tacos. As I was leaving the taqueria I slipped on the un shoveled pavement and fell smack down in the snow smashing my knee into the concrete. That wouldn't be that bad except the fact that I smashed our taco dinners down as I fell and so the rice and beans spilled out all over! FML

This totally cracked me up, sounds like something I would/have done!
