Invitation wording for vow renewal

How should I word my invitations for my wedding vow renewal? My H and I are doing it on our 1 yr anniversary, we are both AD military and have a lot of out of town guests so I want to send out STD cards too but I'm not sure about the wording. 1st year anniversary and wedding vow renewal...wedding vow renewal....wedding vow celebration...

My sailor & I are doing the same thing. I am finding most people are really confused by this. Yet they all complained that they wanted to be at any ceremony we hold. ?? LOL I am finding that at this point that most wording is almost identical. We are going with vow renewal & reception. Not even bothering putting on there that it's our 1st anniversary. Good luck with everything & I hope your vows ceremony is as beautiful as you hope.

Well, that makes sense. People wanted to see you get married and the vow renewal isn't much of a consolation prize for them.
