RSVP via email

I ordered my invitations last week.  I ordered invitations, invitation envelopes and RSVP cards.  We are not offering the option to mail the RSVP cards back, so instead we provided a phone number and a email address to respond.  Since we weren't wanting anyone to mail back the RSVP cards, we did not buy RSVP envelopes.  Is it ok to just place the invitation and the RSVP card in the same envelope verses the RSVP card being in a smaller envelope?

There's no point in putting it with a small envelope if you don't want them mailed back. Just treat them like any other insert.

I did something similar, but I did use the RSVP envelopes so I could write their names. We didn't invite children so I wanted to make sure I had specific names.
