Online RSVPs through the Knot

Hi,
Has anyone figured out a way to let the guests RSVP by number in their party? We have a lot of people who may or may not bring children, spouses, etc, but would be included all on the same invite.
If not through the knot's website, how have others handled the RSVP deal? I have been looking online and am not finding a simple site where they can just rsvp by name and number in party.
We have already sent out our invites with our wedding website hosted off The Knot listed on them, so I am thinking that we may not have to link to somewhere else off of our wedding website to let people RSVP? What a pain!

Thanks!

Re: Online RSVPs through the Knot

  • This question gets asked on here all the time because TK's website is such a PIA and is not user-friendly.

Generally the posters on this board will recommend doing the traditional, mailed RSVPs, for the above reason, but also because a mailed RSVP is more formal.  IMO, RSVPing online is only appropriate for extremely casual events.

  • Thanks for the help.
We are trying to do everything as sustainably as possible, so even sending out recycled paper invites was a big deal to us; including a RSVP card etc etc won't work for us, even though I agree with you on the causal feeling that it gives the wedding.
Also, we have to direct people to a website, as we are doing a destination wedding and there is a lot of info on there that they need to go through.
I did do more searching today actually and found a great website where you can set up a very simple rsvp page and link it into your website; I think this is the easiest way to go. Wufoo.com lets you customize every field, so you can track number of guests per party, menu choices, lodging, etc etc.
