Wedding Day Recap!

I had a few knotties ask me for a recap of our fabulous wedding weekend so here goes! Started off with my Bachelorette Party on Thursday which was lots of fun, except my sister getting extremely sick at the end in the parking lot of Eat N Park. Humorous, nonetheless. We just stayed close to home and hit up a few bars in order for it to stay on the cheap. Friday we went up to the Summit and set some stuff up. Rehersal went well except I cried a lot. I got a lot of it out of my system then though, and only cried at the ceremony a little. Monica Kitta did a great job! I got extensions and she pulled it up and curled it. I loved it. The ceremony was really nice. Standing room only in a room that held 180! Zach's face was priceless when I came down the aisle. Everything else was just beautiful. Like I said, I cried a few times. Once when I was given away (not by my father who passed away 4 years ago almost to the day of the wedding), once when Zach's sister did her reading because she was practically bawling, and again when Zach cried when he was saying his vows. Oh, and when I said mine too, of course! I can't get over how beautiful it all was. Pics are on FB... If you are interested, my email is morgan dot baxter at email dot stvincent dot edu. We entered the hall around 645 and used Kwynn's idea for terrible towels. They were the biggest hit of the night, I think! Another highlight was having our first dance choreographed by someone local here in DC. My mom said that if we practiced two more times, we could have been on Dancing with the Stars! lol We just danced the night away. It went so fast and so many things I don't remember. One thing I do suggest, if you can get over the part about it being "tacky" is to do the bridal dance! It was so much fun just to dance with everyone all at once, because throughout the night you won't really notice that you don't get to have full dances with half the people you wanted to. I slow danced only with Zach, his dad, 2 of my male friends, my mom and sister, and my cousin. At the end I was so exhausted and my dress was a little snug so I had to change my clothes about 15 minutes before it was over. That was the only time I missed anything. So many people told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Like I said last night, I don't know if that is something you are supposed to say to everyone, but it sure did make me feel like all the effort was worth it!! Anyway, sorry if this is long. Just wanted to thank you all again for all of the advice and ideas over the past year, even if I can't, for the most part, participate in the daily posts.
