Garden Wedding Invite Wording (Please Help.)

I've searched the world over for a way to word my invitations and nothing seems right.

I'm trying to say (informally):
  • Join us!
  • We're getting married
  • In a garden
  • (so it will be casual)
  • Maybe something cutesy and bird-related instead of "Join us!"
  • Oh, and no mention of either set of parents
Why is this so hard?!
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Laughing

Verses 1, 7, and 8 all seem directed toward casual, garden weddings. If you google "casual garden wedding invitation wording" you will find several other sites with suggestions.

Just remember to include the pertinent information of date, time, and location as well.

www.weddingchicks.com has a really cute bird graphic that would be great for a garden wedding. We used them for our engagement party invites. It's a free download in the colors of your choice.

I'd do a bird graphic and then right underneath something like "The lovebirds are getting married"

Then do standard wording for the invite:

You are cordially invited to the / The pleasure of your company is requested at the
    marriage of
    Bride Full Name
    and
    Groom Full NAme
    Date
    Time
    The gardens of Venue
    City, State

    Reception to follow

I'm not a fan of cutesy, but this works:

    The pleasure of your company
is requested at the marriage of

    Bride Middle Last
    to
    Groom Middle Last

    Saturday, the sixteenth of June
    two thousand thirteen

    In the garden
    Venue Name
    Address
    City, State

    Reception to follow

I'm not a fan of cutesy, either.
But coincidentally, the date you picked for your example (16th of June) is my birthday.
Just thought I'd share, and thanks. Smile
