I discovered Cards & Pockets as a result of the Knot, and am considering DIY invitations. My wedding is not until Sept 2012, so I figure that I have plenty of time to put together invites. For those of you who used them to make your invitations, please PM me with images of your final invitations. I would like to design my invite with a pocket and tiered info, and have a belly band that ties it all together. Also let me know:
1) How long it took you to put your invites together
2) If you had C&P print anything for you or if you did it on your own computer
3) Did you design your invites? I am considering having a graphic artist friend of mine design my invites, and want to know if it will be easy for her to do
4) What materials you'd recommend I get to help with my assembly (such as a particular glue). I already have a paper slicer, which I figure should come in handy
5) Any key learnings you have for things to do or NOT do
