Invitation problems

So a few weeks ago, I ordered my invites. I know its early, but I got a super deal from Vistaprint. Well, I decided to put "together with their parents...." My mom was fine with this, until today. We went to lunch today & she told me she thinks I should reorder them & put their name on it. According to her, that is their one chance to be honored. She made a good point when she said that some of the people she invited might not realize that it is for her daughter, as we have different last names.

This is not an arguement I feel like taking on and she really has been helping alot with the planning & getting all the stuff we need for decorations, so I guess I am going to have to reorder them. We are a little under 6 months out, so Im not worried about the time crunch. Hopefully I will be able to get another good deal from Vistaprint so it doesnt hurt my pockets too much.

I don't think she was fine with it. When you posted about it a couple weeks ago, it was titled "What My Mom Wanted vs. What I Actually Did." You should have known this was coming. A bunch of people in the thread warned you that you shouldn't have gone behind her back about it, so this should not be a surprise. 

I don't think you should have had to include her name on it, and I don't think you should have to reorder them b/c I was/am on your side about it. I'm just saying you shouldn't be surprised.

Just so you know, I'm on my iPhone so the punctuation and stuff may be off. Sorry! Anyway, I did tell my mom afterwards and she was fine w it then but apparently she wasn't really okay with it. I wish she would've just told me originally, not 2 weeks later. I don't want to reorder them but like I said, this is not a fight I want to have with her. You know they say pick your battles? This is one I cannot pick to take on.
