If I have a very small wedding and I know everyone's guest's name - can I not include the extra envelope.

Have 3 envelopes total is not very green of me - which I always try to do.

Do you think it is tacky to not include the extra envelope?

We're not doing an inner envelope.  A lot of brides just skip them.  For our handful of single guests, we called them up and let them know that they could bring someone, even though the invitation was only addressed to them.
