Wording Help!

Ok I definitely need some help from you guys!

My parent, his parent (dad and step-mom), and his mom who is single are all helping pay for the wedding, so this is probably going to be tricky:

Mr. and Mrs. John Doe (my parents)
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith (his)
Ms. Jan Jones (his mom)

1. Do I say:
Along with their parents
Jill Doe
and
Matt Smith
Request the honor of your presence

2. or is their a way to fit all those names into the invitation?!?

Are all your parents considered the hosts of the wedding? Paying often indicates hosting, but not always, so just checking

Some people think that more than 2 "hosting" lines it too many. I disagree, and think that listing each parent individually as a host is perfectly fine, if that's the route you'd like to take. Etiquette wise, there is nothing wrong with having three hosting lines. The wording for that would go something like this:

Mr. and Mrs. John Doe

Ms. Jan Jones

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith

request the honour of your presence

at the marriage of their children

Jill MiddleName Doe

and

Matt MiddleName Smith

date

time

Venue

Address

City, State

alternatively, you could do "Together with their families/parents...". Many people recommend that, but it's up to you.

Together with their families/parents

Jill MiddleName Doe

and

Matt MiddleName Smith

request the honour of your presence

as they are united in marriage/ at their marriage ceremony/etc., etc.

Also, "honour of your presence" is only for weddings in a house of worship. Otherwise "pleasure of your company" is used.
