Wedding Invitations & Paper

Photo envelope liners

We plan on printing out one of our e-pics, then using it to line our envelopes (PIB).  Do you think we can get away with just regular printer paper, or should we print them on something special?
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Re: Photo envelope liners

  • THe ones in your bio are really cute. I think you'd need to pic a photo that doesn't have you looking at hte camera, or it might be a bit alarming when they open the envelope. Peek A Boo, I see you, style.

    Definitely a cute idea, though.

  • Oh, and to answer your actual question, i think photo paper would be too rigid to line the envelope, but you could probably print on a higher grade kind of glossy paper.

  • Ha, I hadn't thought of that, but it would be a bit strange.  A couple of our candidates are kissy-face/staring at each other lovingly shots, so I'll stick to those.

I wish I could take credit for the idea, but I totally stole it from Shananigans.

  • I'm doing this too, and I'm actually leaning toward matte paper, the thinnest possible.  And - I've tried it with pics of both focus types, and I don't think that matters.
