Save the Date and Bridesmaid Invites

How far in advance do you think that I should send out my save the dates? I haven't decided on a theme or color scheme for the wedding, but it is going to be out of the country and so I want to give people enough time to plan ahead. What do you think is a good time line for sending save the date and then invites?

I also want to invite my girls to be a part of my wedding, but i'm not sure the timeline for that either.

I found this website with some good advice and cute invitations: http://refer.ly/wedding-invitation-basics-how-to-choose-the-right-package/c/78fd73728a6c11e2bfbf22000a1db8fa

but i don't know what is important to have on the save the date cards. Should I include a wedding website?

    Save the dates=about 6-9 months before wedding

    Bridesmaids=about 9-12 months before wedding

    Invitations=6-8 weeks before wedding

    STD card info depends on your situation. Full names of you and FI. For example: Save the date for the wedding of Kate Smith and Derek Jones (not just your first names).
    Wedding date/location, and website are all good ideas.
