Would it be tacky if I addressed the STDs myself?  I have great handwriting and I really don't want  to wait on anyone else to do it.

Nah.  It's fine.  Just write as neatly as you can.

You could also print the addresses on the envelopes in a really light ink and then trace over it, but that's pretty time consuming.

No, that is what I did.  It's fine, a lot of people will tell you that all envelopes should be hand addressed, anyways.

I don't think it's tacky at all, actually I thought that was preferred etiquette-wise.

I addressed 115 envelopes by hand last month, and honestly it was kind of a relaxing chore.

Nope I think you're good. We did labels for our STDs and will be doing labels for invites. I have nice hand writing but I know after addressing 130 invites it won't look that great

No not tacky at all! It puts that personal touch to make your guests feel special!

Thank you ladies!  We just received our customized return stamp and I addressed half of the invites last night and will finish the rest tonight!
