I got 2 big checks this weekend, both of which were starting to stress me out! We hashed out a rough menu with our caterer, and found us an officiant (yeah, kind of a big deal!). I was so worried about an officiant, my FI wanted to use his parent's pastor, which I loved the idea of, but his family lives 4 hours away, and he (the pastor) has 5 small children, so that would be asking a lot for him to come up to marry us, even if we pay his expenses. So, I come to find out that one of my closest friends FIL is ordained to perform weddings (I do not know how I didn't know this), and he agreed to do the wedding free of charge, as long as his wife can come too (it helps that his granddaughter is our flower girl)

So now I feel much better! Now onto picking cake. Mmmmm.....cake.
