Wedding Invitations & Paper

Postcard Stamps *XP*

When fiance and I went to the post office yesterday they didn't have the 65-cent wedding stamps in yet.  But we did find these postcard stamps for our reply cards, and the Aloha shirts fit our Hawaiian theme perfectly!  The gentleman behind the counter couldn't understand why we were all excited and giving each other high fives.

Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.

  • Those are really cute!  I can see why you were excited.

  • Dude, I did NOT pay 65 cents for a "wedding stamp."  I got the "Garden of Love" forever stamps for 45 cents each.  The "Love Ribbon" stamps are also only 45 cents.  Are you sure that your invitation will require 65 cents for postage?

  • Hi meganb!

we also got the Garden of love forever stamps, for our RSVP envelopes.  Our invitation was $1.10 each for US addresses due to irregular size and shape.

  • You can always order stamps from USPS.com  They only cost $1 to ship, and get to your house very quickly.
  • This made me laugh so hard because I got those same stamps a couple of weeks ago to use on the last few STDs I needed to send out after I ran out of my custom Zazzle stamps. I was in a hurry, the post office could only do cash transactions that day due to electrical outage after a bad storm, and I just assumed I would get plain forever type postcard stamps. When the guy gave me these Aloha stamps, and I had already paid for them, I was so mad and was like WTH?! who would want these and why is their only postcard postage option?! Of course I calmed down and bought regular forever stamps that wouldn't clash with my New Orleans themed STDs. I am glad to know that someone was excited over these stamps! I should send you all my extras. :)

  • We go these as well and I was happy. I love Jimmy Buffett and the whole beach/hawaiian theme, but we aren't going that way, so this is my little way of getting 'me' in there.

Yes I weighed them on the scale at work and it was 65 cents by the time you put the invitation, reply card, and information card in the inner envelope and stuck it in the outer envelope.
