Extra Save the Dates with Wedding Invitations

The company we ordered our save the date magnets from sent us about 40 extra and didn't charge us for them.   We have a few people who we're inviting to the wedding who we didn't send a save the date to.  Can we put one in with their regular invitation or would that be bad form?   The magnets are really cute so I'd hate to waste them.  At the same time, I don't want people to feel like they weren't a high enough priority to get a save the date when we originally sent them out.   What does everyone think?

    I wouldn't send them.

I think save the dates are common enough now, that if someone received them with a wedding invite, they'd be smart enough to know that originally they may not have been on the guest list, etc.

Plus, even though I love weddings I hate crap.  As soon as we receive a wedding invite, I throw away the STD.
  • I agree with hz...I think people are going to realize that it normally would have come months before, and well, I hate clutter as well. Even with magnets, I still just note the date on my calendar and toss them - I'm just not a magnet person and I will not put them on my fridge.

  • I agree with PP.  Do not send them.
