My dad and (amazing) stepmom, along with my (newly remarried) mother are paying for my Sept wedding.
For the invite I was thinking
Mr and Mrs X &
Mrs Y
request blahblahblah
However, my stepmom has kept her maiden name (mainly for work purposes). I adore my step mom and she is contributing most of the money for the wedding, but I'm not sure how to give her a more prominent place on the invite.
Also, my mother is remarried. I do not want her new husband on the invite (he is not a part of my family, says very rude things to me, and has already cheated on my mom). But, she has taken his last name (Smith - so original).
Should I go a little less formal and use first names with the last name:
Bob and Betty X &
Susie Y
