I'm looking for fun invitations (that are still a litle traditional) - bright happy colors   Any suggestions on company or etsy?  I want something a little less traditional but not too wild.

Vistaprint has some very nice invites.  They have a wide range from traditional to non-traditional.  You can order their free bridal sample kit to get samples of the different papers they offer.  They routinely have groupon or livingsocial vouchers, so you can save money when you order as well.  I do recommend upgrading the envelopes for the invite, the standard ones can be flimsy and see through.

I got mine from a company I found on Etsy called Shine Wedding Invitations. Super customer service. Traditional with a little bit of edge/fun.

I love Wedding Paper Divas. They have excellent customer service and the quality for the price can't be beat. You can also order a bunch of samples so you can see what they look like in person.

Sometimes just a simple paper choice or typeface can really make all the difference! I love etsy and paper divas is great - but sometimes it's hard to find the "right" thing that feels special for your wedding on sites like these.

But the possibilities are really endless - All the slight differences in paper thicknesses, color and texture can get overwhelming. Thankfully, most distributors will send you samples for free so that you can get a better idea of what the paper is like.

If you have any friends who design - they are usually more than happy to help and it ends up being a great wedding "gift" from them!

I also agree with Jessie - if you can find someone to help you design the invitations of your dreams within your budget - go for it! You're probably going to frame one somewhere, so you better like it!

Many invitations on Wedding Paper Diva's really caught my eye while I was trying to decide on invitations. I wanted something traditional but with some flair. They had a wide range of designs and you could customize a lot of the wording and often the colors. Some of their choices can be on the slightly pricier side though. But if you sign up to be on their email list they send coupons often. A cheaper option would be Vistaprint or 123print, who will also send coupons once a week to your email.
