How early can I send out invitations?

Hi Knotties,

I am getting married around mid-April. We have several guests flying in from other provinces and from Asia so I'd like to send out invitations a bit earlier than is typical. However I don't want to send them *too* early. Any suggestions on an appropriate timeline? I am thinking about 10 weeks, which is really only 2 weeks earlier than the norm.

For the reasons you've stated, 10 weeks sounds just fine.

We did 10 weeks as well because all of DH's family lives in PR and needed to make travel arrangements. You may also want to consider calling them now to let them know the date because they may be able to find cheaper flights with more time.
