Inner envelope mandatory?

Hi all - Do I need to include an inner envelope for the inviation or can I just address the outside envelop and include the inviationa nd RSVP card inside?

    Not mandatory but it makes it more difficult to politely inform guests who can bring a plus one and which families aren't permitted to bring children, etc.
