Black and White Bachelorette party wording

I am planning a guest wear black and bride wears white Bachelorette party. I am trying to come up with the wording for the invites. Also I am requesting a donation for the event, I would like to nicely ask without seeiming demanding. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Some of the events that will take place are meeting at a hotel for appatizers and drinks then heading out.

Thanks everyone!!!

Re: Black and White Bachelorette party wording

  • Every bach party I've been to has always asked for around $25 from each person.  Usually there's a party bus involved so the $25 is to help pay for the party bus and to pay for the bride's drinks all night.

I did go to one bach party where $25 was requested and there was not a party bus so I felt a little weird about that.

I suppose it is rude to ask for money, but that's the norm around here so I usually don't think much of it.

  • When my best friend got married and I was planning her bachelorette party, we didn't have a dress code, per se, but we were going to a night club with its own dress code and renting a hotel room.

I forget exactly how I worded it, but it was something like "Come party at BFF's bachelorette party - We're doing a, b, & c, and it costs 'x' dollars for hotel, cover charge, and BFF's drinks - Dress to impress in your best club clothes"

I don't really think a black & white dress code is rude for a bachelorette party so I think if you just worded it nicely (as in, used 'please') you'd be fine.
