forgot to put in "formal invitation to follow"

ummmm yeah i forgot to put this on my STDs and they are currently being shipped to me.

i do have our wedding website on them, so could i put a little something on my website??

help please, i can't believe i overlooked this

Don't sweat it.  I'm sure people will assume/know an invite is coming after.

Most people have received STDs before.  They'll know the formal invitiation is coming.

I don't think I've ever seen "formal invitation to follow" on a save the date.  Or if it's been there, I obviously didn't notice/remember, which suggests to me that it's not a big deal. If anyone doesn't get that the Save the Date is seperate, they will once they recieve their formal invite!

Most people will figure it out, and for the others, well, you can let them know when they call you (since they'll be confused).  Don't worry.

Don't worry about it.  As long as you said "Save The Date" you're OK....and then just make sure you send the formal invitation.

i think that most people assume they will be getting an invitation once they receive the STD

I forgot this as well, but since mine were emailed, I added it to the subject line.  I suppose if you're really, really concerned about it, you could add it somewhere on the envelope, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I forgot to add it to my STDs as well.  Instead, I printed up cute stickers with a compass rose (we have a nautical theme) and "Formal invitation to follow" and used the sticker to seal the envelopes.  I think I would have been fine without it, but I added it anyway.

Don't worry about it. If it says "Save the date", you're totally fine!

Thats fine dont let this stress you out! It clearly says Save The Date I'm guessing so they will know! You can always state it in your wedding website I always check out the wedding website!
