Have JPEG of STD, where to print?

I had someone design mt STDs and she said she would send me the jpeg for $12 and I could take it to a local print shop to have them printed. Is this a simple process, does anyone have experience doing this way, or should I just have her print them for $45+ S&H?

You could contact a couple of local printing shops for a quote to compare the price.

It was like, 42 cents a page for color and cardstock at the UPS store for me. After I printed 90 or so pages and had them all cut for my invites, it was like 60 bucks, and that was with them having to reprint and cut the RSVP cards. So it'd probably be about the same or cheaper to do it yourself, and it was really easy for me to do, I handed them my jump drive, told them what I needed, and that was it. Took about 20 minutes.

i would either have her send you a PDF file or have her print them.  A lot of times, printing from JPG files can end up pixelated if the JPG file was compressed too much.
