I am thinking of doing either RSVP or the Invite envelopes in Grey. I read online that sometimes the post office charges more for dark envelopes. Has anyone had a problem with this? We are most likely doing square invites so would there be an additional charge to the upcharge for the square envelope? thanks.

Re: Mailing dark envelopes
Black Envelopes- Black envelopes with white text not only give off a very classy look, but have the same amount of contrast as a white envelope with black text. So you should have no problem sending this, correct? Wrong. According to the Post Office, "A black envelope with a white delivery address is not acceptable for OCR processing." OCR refers to their automatic system.
I have also heard they might put a whit barcode sticker on them.[QUOTE]I live in Canada so it may be slightly different here, but I mailed out Black envelopes with pink or silver writing and so far everyone has been recieving them.
