i think ordered the wrong size envelope!

I am making my own invited w/ a 5x7 petal fold and i just ordered personalized envelopes.  i think i ordered 5x7 envelopes not thinking and i'm worried that my petalfold won't fit b/c i'm betting i will need 5 1/4 x 7 1/4.  what am i gonna do???

Did you order A7 envelopes or 5"x7"? 

Technically A7 is 5-1/4" x 7-1/4"

Can you return them and order the correct size?

If you're in a rush, order the correct size and then return the ones that  will not work.  If you're not in a rush, wait for the incorrectly sized ones to arrive, call the company's customer service department and let them help you walk through the exchange and return on the phone.

Are they actually 5x7 or do they call them that because they fit a 5x7 card? Some companies do that rather than assign them as A7.

This exactly. Where did you order them from? Chances are they are the right size because 5x7 envelopes are made to fit something that measures 5x7 but the envelope is slightly larger.

I'm looking for 5 x 7 envelopes, so did you ever find out if they were 5 x 7 or A7?  If they were 5 x 7, where did you order them from because I'm in need of them...
