Wedding Invitations & Paper

Response card question

My invitation person worded the draft for my response card as:

M____________________________________
___accept with pleasure ___decline with regret

Shouldn't it say acceptS with pleasure and declineS with regret?

We are having all of our invitations printed by a company. We can't print different things for different people. What should we do?

Doesn't that look weird? Everything else is very formal and maybe it's just me but I think this doesn't look very formal.

The funniest thing about all of this is that probably no one is going to notice this detail, and many others I have obsessed over for that matter!

  • Ours say "accepts" and "declines", using the "s" at the end.

I don't think people will look too hard into the grammar on your RSVP card - and I am a stickler about good grammar, usually :)

Most invitations I've gotten or worked on (I used to design invites for wedding, parties, etc.) add the "s" at the end.
