Wedding Invitations & Paper

exporting guest list to print labels

Has anyone found a way to export addresses from the guest list tool so that they can be printed on labels?

Re: exporting guest list to print labels

  • I didn't use the guest list tool - but I think there's a way to export to Excel.

Like CMGr said, printed labels are not good for wedding invitations - they're something you get on junk mail, and you don't want you guests thinking your wedding is the equivalent of junk mail, ya know?

Once you export to Excel, you can then do a "Mail Merge" into Word. Then you can print directly onto your envelopes (this is increasingly becoming as accepted as hand writing). It will look so much nicer than labels, and be just as simple.
  • THANK YOU FOR THIS!  GREAT, HELPFUL FEEDBACK... AND I AGREE - WHAT IS WITH THE JUDGMENTAL AND UNSOLICITED ETIQUETTE ADVICE FROM OTHERS?!  WHERE IS THE SOLIDARITY LADIES?

[QUOTE]For anyone who just wants to know how to export your guest list, and not get a lesson in etiquette, there's only one page from which you can export.  From your guest list dashboard, select an event (ie wedding, shower, rehearsal dinner).  From the specific guest list page you can click a button that says "view summary" in the blue box at the top, on the right.  Once you are viewing the guest list summary, the top half of the page is statistics, the bottom half is options for exporting your guest list.  Hope this helps!
