Reminder cards?

Invites went out a few weeks ago. I've received a few RSVP's in the mail, but not many. I also included our wedding website on the directions card, but only 2 people have been on our site!!
Another big issue i discovered after sending invites out is that I included the reception info. on the rsvp card so now I'm worried our guests won't know the reception details because ceremony and reception are in separate locations. Should i send a reminder card with reception info. and our website address??

    In a word, no.

If guests have questions, they will call you.
  • When is your RSVP date? If it hasn't passed, don't bother people.

I started calling people a few days before the RSVPs were due to remind those who hadn't sent them yet. But, I wouldn't send out something else in the mail.
  • I have a few weeks before RSVPs are due so I'll give it some more time and just make phone calls closer to the date. Thanks for your help!
  • If you're doing a program, put reception information in the program and then just distribute it at the wedding.

<div>You should have waited until <em>after</em> they were due to start calling.  </div><div>
</div><div>OP, don't send anything out.  Call and follow up with people who miss the RSVP deadline.  You may also want to consider printing directions or the address of the reception on your program or somewhere else for the guests to pick up at the ceremony.  </div>
