Do I put "& Guest" or children's names on the save the date envelope?

    I would.  You want to be as specific as possible regarding who you are inviting.

    I was thinking since it's just the 'save the date' maybe I wouldn't need to put it - like maybe just put it on the inner envelope when I send the invitations themselves. I'm so unsure about this...  : )

    Definitely put the S/O & kids' names on the STD.  If you are still on the fence about whether you will invite truly single people to bring a guest, you can leave it off for now, especially if those guests are local.
