Wedding Invitations & Paper

Printing on card stock

I am going to be printing my wedding programs on card stock and make them into paddle fans.  I found card stock on paperandmore.com and it says that most at-home printers cannot print on it.  What pound of card stock will I be able to print on at home?

I have a Lemark inkjet and I buy 110 lb. white Cardstock (pretty much anywhere...WalMart, Target, Office Max, Staples) and it works fine for me. Set your printer to Photo Quality and feed the pages through 3 or 4 at a time so they don't get jammed.

  • When you go to print, click

, and select the right paper weight.

  • Most printers have a setting that allows you to choose the type of paper you're using. I would check out that setting before buying the paper so you know exactly what to buy. You could also ask at the print counter at Staples or something and see what they can tell you about the printer you have.
