Wedding Invitations & Paper

Where does the website go?

I just ordered my invitations the other day from VistaPrint.
I had put my wedding website on the bottom of the reception card  for directions and parking instructions.

I just realized my website has the registry info on it- I don't want it to come across tacky!  :(

Should I worry about it?

Re: Where does the website go?

  • No worries! Registry information on the wedding website is just fine, and putting the website on the reception card is fine, too! :)

  • You are in perfect form.  Your website is a directory of information for your guests to use.  If they wish to look at registry information, it's right there for them to inspect.  If they don't, they don't have to look at it.

The really gross thing to do is put registry info in the invite itself, which you didn't do.  Remember, you are trying to strike a balance between not shoving it in their faces, and not making it hard on them to find.  What you did is the perfect solution.

  • As long as the registry isn't the only thing on your website, you're perfectly fine.
