Wedding Invitations & Paper

Creating a custom invite...HELP!

Hi everyone,

My future in-laws are both artists. I want to include them in the planning, and I thought having them design the invitations would be a great way to do that. Does anyone know a way where I could have their design printed onto invites? No website seems to let you upload your own design...

  • Catprint and Vista Print. I've also seen options to upload your own to zazzle. You just have to have them saved as JEPGs for most or I think I got a PDF to work on zazzle when I was testing things out.

This is what I am looking into right now.  I'm paying a designer friend to design ours.

Catprint has several different paper weight options as well as envelope options.

VistaPrint has 4 extra options besides the default paper.

VistaPrint however, has the most online deals and coupons.  It'd be best to price them out, then decide which place to go, and give your ILs the templates so they can design around that.

For 40 invitations/RSVPs Vistaprint was more $, but then I had $40 with a coupon so it was slightly cheaper in the end.  Envelopes are included but you don't get a choice in the quality.  Catprint has more paper/envelope options.  I am not sure which to go with yet.  Catprint has good reviews though.

  • Catprint, Zazzle, Vistaprint, Cards and Pockets-all have upload your own design. Cards and Pocket has the most paper/color options but it's a little more expensive than the others. I recommend using a loss-free file such as PDF, Psd or ai extension rather than a JPeg.
