Ceremony wording

So our officiant has encouraged us to customize our ceremony, and I've been making some 'tweaks' to the wording that he sent us. One of the things I'd love to add is an affirmation by our families. I definitely don't want to be given away in a traditional sense, but I would like the officiant to ask both sets of parents to affirm their approval and support of our intent to marry. Where might I find some nice wording to use for something like this? I had a great sample ceremony I was going to pick a bunch of things out of, but it seems to have disappeared from the internet!

Our officiant had our families rise (we allowed anyone who considered themselves 'family' stand, however you could specify just parents/siblings/grandparents etc) and then he asked them:

'Do you, the families of (Bride and Groom) give them your blessing and promise to support and honour them in their marriage?  If so, answer 'We Do'.

It was short and simple, but a great way for them to show their support of our marriage :)
