Response Cards- Stamp Etiquette

Hello,

I'm ready to send out my invitations but I don't know the etiquette regarding putting a stamp on the response envelopes- do I need to do this?  Is it tacky if I do not?  Any help is much appreciated!

If you don't stamp the response card envelope, then don't bother even sending them, because you won't be getting them back.

Yes, please include a stamp. Getting RSVPs returned is difficult enough for most guests--the added barrier of making them search for a stamp spells certain doom. Ok, not certain doom, but like pp said--you won't be hearing back from many, many guests if you don't include a stamp.

Another option- using an RSVP website. I saw an invitation where the bride included an unstamped RSVP card, but at the bottom it said "Save a stamp- RSVP online at www.________.com."

BAD, bad plan.  We get stories here all.the.time of how they don't work, people don't use them, etc.  Don't bother.  (And, I work in computer nerdy crap, so I normally do everything online!)  Really - save yourself the headache and buy stamps.
