Save the date stamp... Aloha?!?

I just stopped by the post office on the way home from work to pick up stamps for my save the date postcards. I asked for 100 postcard stamps and the lady came back with stamps that had a tshirt and said aloha. I asked if they had any other options for postcard stamps and they said no. I asked if the post office made any other 32 cent stamps and they said no. Then she tried to get my to by regular letter stamps for my post cards. Ugh.

Has anyone else had an experence like this? Is it true that this is the only stamp option? I think it looks tackey.

  • I don't happen to know (have you tried looking at usps.com? It's how I ordered my wedding stamps, straight from the post office) but I truly doubt people are going to care too much about what stamps you use, honestly...

  • Could be worse. When I sent out my STDs the only postcard stamp option was a polar bear.

People know what the stamps are. They won't hold it against you.

  • Don't sweat it. The time I spent worrying over stamps was one of my wedding "regrets." Most people don't even notice the stamp.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • you can order from the post office but then you to wait. I do like the zazzle stamps but it really doesnt matter much. If you wanted certain ones i'd say save that for the invtites not the save the dates

  • Thanks everyone. I was looking at the USPS website and post card stamps are going up to 33 cents on Jan 17th. The 33 cent stamps have apples on them, not great but I like them better then the Aloha stamps!
